2. Characters! • Jake is a 14 year old boy who loves to skateboard he has sort of long black hair and is tall. • Alicia is a 15 year old girl who loves skateboarders she has long blond hair she is also tall.

3. setting • the setting of this story is a couple different places but the main setting is at a birthday party. At this birthday party Jake and Alicia meet each other.

4. Conflict/resolution • the conflict of this story is that when Jake and Alicia meet they both like each other but they don’t tell each other that they like one another. And they are both nerves to tell each other that they like one another. • The resolution of this conflict is when Jakes mom comes over and blurts it out in front of Alicia! Then they find out that the both like one another.

5. Prediction • I made an inference in the middle of the book that Jake and Alicia would soon become boyfriend and girlfriend I made this prediction because they have so much in common so I thought that they where going to meet and date each other. • The prediction that I made about this was right because at the near the end they got together and where boyfriend and girlfriend.

6. Summary • In this story a boy named Jake and a Girl named Alicia meet and like each other. But the problem is that Jake does not know if she likes him and Alicia doesn't know if he likes her. But when they meet the find out that they have a lot of common interests like skateboarding.

7. theme • The theme of this story is that if you do not know someone personally but you like them you should get to know them and not just like them for there looks or for the people they hang out with.
