  2. In the nuclear family set up that exists in today's society, high chances exist for the children to be selfish and greedy. Most of the homes have one or two kids and they forget the habit of sharing. Let us bring them up inculcating the great values through short stories in each and every stage of development. When some ideas and values are shared through stories, the children grasp it completely and understands the moral through the consequences explained in the story.

  3. One of the best stories to share the great ideas, be satisfied with what you have, think before you act, and there are no shortcuts for great achievements is "The Goose with the Golden Eggs". To fulfill the wish of being rich soon, the farmer and his wife kill the Goose which laid one golden egg every day, and finished off everything all of a sudden. One who is never happy with what he gets is most likely to get nothing at all in the future. Let the children go up with great moral values, respect for elders, and good bonding with the family.
