  2. What am I? • There’s only one of me… • • I’ve been here for millions of years… • • I look green and blue and sometimes partly white • • I’m partly solid, partly liquid, partly gas • • I’m home to many living things • • I spin around all the time, it takes me 24hours to do one spin

  3. Why should we look after the Earth?

  4. We need your help! • Whole school • Eco Club • One boy, one girl from each class • Meet every term • An action plan of how we can help look after our planet and become an ECO SCHOOL

  5. Waste & Rubbish • How much rubbish? • What is the biggest type of waste in the school? • How can we reduce the rubbish we make • Reduce, reuse and recycle!

  6. Energy & Water • What is energy? • How can we use less?

  7. Gardens & Growing • Why should we look after our outdoor space • Why should we grow more things? • Garden Club every Monday

  8. How can you all help • Class choose the two children to come to Eco Club. They will bring your ideas to the club • The class can also choose • Energy Enforcer (turn off lights and computers) • Recycle Ranger ( paper and fruit waste) • Litter Leader(check classroom and playground)
