  2. 16.09.1985.Children and school! Two words gather together the wisdom, the hopes and the meaning of our entire life. In the cultural life of the town and the countryconfidently is being joined the teacher’s staff of the biggest school in South Bulgaria. THE BEGINNING . . .

  4. Petko Rachov Slaveykov Secondary Schoolis located in Kardzhali, Vazrozhdentsi quarterand is one of the biggest in South Bulgaria. It is established in 1984. Briefly about our favorite school

  5. There are 1600 students in the schoolin 70 classesunder the guidanceof 140 teachers and 40 subsidiarystaff. It disposes withcontemporary material-technique base: 44 class rooms, 13 study rooms, 3 computer halls, 4 audience chambers, conference hall with modern audio-visual technique, 5 sport halls, cabinets, workshops, student lunch room, teacher’s club, library, Resource center for human rights, European corridor, religion cabinet – peculiar schoolchapel.

  6. Our school motto is : “Study, Win, Compete, Fascinate!”. The emblem of our school is owl.The idea of its creation belongs to the student body president- the painter Ivan Iliev. In 1991 he made the UPKO owl, which symbolizes knowledge and wisdom. Old emblem New emblem

  12. Bozhidar Cholakov (ex-student in Petko Rachov Slaveykov Secondary School from 1991 to 1999) He says "I have been studying in Petko Rachov Slaveykov Secondary School from 1 to 8 grade. There I learned to read and calculate, to be tolerant. I think that a child forms as a person exactly in school. I was lucky to be with a very good class leader - Lilly Delcheva. With love I found my first friends there. I copied for my first time on Bulgarian language exam and then I got Bad (1) in the class book. You can learn a lot of things in the school. We were proud of studying in the biggest school in Kardzhali region and in South Bulgaria."
