Client focused organisation created in 2005 To provide improved access to natural resources and government-held natural resource data within BC. Who We are
Provide assistance to a range of clients within and outside government by: Coordinating applications for crown resources through a single point of access Managing and delivering natural resource information Administering crown land through tenures, permits, and sales Developing, implementing and revising land use plans What We Do
ILMB provides GIS decision support services to a range of clients within SIR: MAL, MOFR, MoE PEP, OFC MoT, MARR Interior Health Authority (IHA) Client Ministries
What is it? A comprehensive agreement, negotiated with each client ministry, that governs the types, and in some cases, the amount of service which is to be provided. GIS decision support services (LIM) services are allotment based, client requested project work will continue until the budgeted allotment is utilised. Corporate data management (CDMWS) services are not limited by a budgeted allotment. But rather workflow is focused on specific projects identified at the ADM level at the beginning of each fiscal Service Agreement

A funding source available to all government agencies to supplement their service allotment. $780,000 available provincially for 2007 Funding criteria are still draft, but include: Supports the IAMC’s Regional Interagency Plan Regional scope and multi-agency benefits Complex, longer term projects IAMC Funding
Client determines deliverables and timelines, and any other key requirements Initiate support request with Cody The service request will be passed to ILMB client service contact person A LIM Analyst will be assigned and will contact the client to discuss the project requirements A workplan will be developed, the client may wish to review this with the ILMB LIM Analyst The project will then be carried out and all hours entered into the Budget and Resource Tracking System (BARTS) Service Request Process
