  3. How does someone work out the number of calories they burn when running? • Calories = Kilometers × Kilograms × 1.036

  6. How far would this person have to run to burn the calories that are in a doughnut? Show how you work this out.? 5 • 53|260 • 260/53=5 • 260/53.9928=4.81545688

  7. How can knowing how to do arithmetic with decimals help you make good health decisions? • For example if you didn’t know how bad smoking is for you, then you can use arithmetic with decimals and find out that eg. 0.17861578% of a human body is harmed within a eg. 10th of a second.
