  3. Add It Up! • A water meter helps to make sure that every customer is treated fairly. It measures consumption.

  4. Add It Up! • Consumption is the using up of goods, services, or resources.

  5. Add It Up! • McCreary County Water District reads your water meter every month and sends you a bill.

  6. Add It Up! • Every customer pays a minimum water service bill $15.55 Minimum Bill

  7. Add It Up! • The minimum water service bill ($15.55) allows you to use any amount of water up to 2,000 gallons.

  8. Add It Up! • Every 1,000 gallons you use, above the first 2,000, costs you $5.75. $5.75
