2. Aim of the Lesson • Students will understand what religious rights the United States of America grants us. • Students will learn this by integrating technology through the internet.

3. Introduction(Motivation) • Imagine that you are at your church praying, when all of a sudden the police come in and arrest you for breaking the law.

4. Think About It…. • Are youANGRY? • Do they have the right to do that to you?

5. Your Mission • To find out exactly what can be done to protect your rights and prepare your case for when you go to court.

6. TASK • You are about to prepare a case for yourself: • First, form groups of five.

7. Situation • Everyone in your group is a part of your legal team. • Everyone has a job and must do it to the best of his or her ability in order for the case to be strong.

8. Information Needed • Who does the Constitution apply to? • What does the Constitution say about religion? • Have there been any prior cases about religion?

20. CONCLUSION Religious beliefs have always been suppressed and this is why the Constitution came about. Through this project you have learned that there are many different types of religion and beliefs and that is why our forefathers have given us the Constitution which grants us Freedom of Religion.
