Kimberly Byrd, a fourteen-year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department was recently appointed to the position of Executive Officer by the Police Commissioner Sylvester M. Johnson. She is the first female to be appointed to this position. Her hands-on and innovative approach has helped make the Department an effective model of service to the community.
