  1. The Fifth International Conference on Provable Security (ProvSec 2011)Oct 16-18, Xi’an China Hosted by • Xidian University • Key Laboratory of Computer Networks and Information Security,Ministry of Education • “National 111 Project” Base for Modern Wireless Information Network

  2. The conference received 75 submissions this year. Each paper was assigned to at least 4 referees.

  3. We are indebted to the 42 members of the Program Committee (from 15 countries) and the 94 external reviewers for all their hard work. • The committee accepted 22 regular papers and 4 short papers to be included in the conference program (LNCS 6980). • Besides, there are 7 carefully selected papers + 4 full version papers published in the Journal of Internet Services and Information Security (JISIS) as a special issue.

  4. The Program Committee invited two distinguished researchers to deliver their keynote talks. • Jens Groth from University College London, UK. Optimal Structure-Preserving Signatures • Vipul Goyal from Microsoft Research, India. Secure Composition of Cryptographic Protocols

  5. Best Paper Award (A certificate and 500$) • Xianhui Lu, Bao Li, Qixiang Mei and Haixia Xu Key-Dependent Message Security for Division Function
