KinderLab Robotics’ KIBO Makes STEAM Learning Fun KinderLab Robotics provides educators with innovative robot toys for young children. Designed for kids aged 4-7 years, the company’s KIBO robot kits are the fruit of more than 20 decades of research involving educational technologies. Dr. Bers will also be a keynote speaker at ISTE 2018 in Chicago, Ill. on June 23rdand supervise the program “Coding as a Playground: ScratchJr + KIBO Robotics” at the Pathfinders Summer Institiute 2018 at Indiana University Bloomington on July 15-20.
KinderLab Robotics’ flagship product, the KIBO, is the result of years of research led by Dr. Bers at Tufts University’s Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development. The robot kit is intended for children from Preschool and Kindergarten to the 2nd Grade. Young learners can use the KIBO kits’ programming blocks, motors, wheels on other components to build their own fully functioning robot. KinderLab can provide teachers with curriculum materials that make it easy to bring robotics into the classroom.
