  9. 3rd AGM – CHUNG HUA MIDDLE SCHOOL, KBPARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATION(MINUTES OF MEETING) Date:01st March 2008 (commenced 14:45 pm) Venue: Recreation Area, Chung Hua Middle School. KB. • Welcome address from School Principal, Ms Hong Geok Cheng. She thanked the floor for attending and also thanked the Management Committee for making 2007 a participative year. 2. Chairperson (Madam Hu Chun) and 1st Deputy (Terry Jayasurya) gave opening speeches. Both appreciated the parents and teachers for making time to attend the 2nd AGM. • Activities that took place in 2007 was discussed upon – Explained by 1st Deputy chairperson, Terry Jayasurya • The Financial statement was also discussed and the income and expenditure explained by Treasurer, Bong Poh Yuk. • The Minutes of Previous AGM 2007 was reviewed and explained by Secretary, Devarajan.N.

  10. 3rd AGM – CHUNG HUA MIDDLE SCHOOL, KBPARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATION(MINUTES OF MEETING) 3. Election of members. Three new members were elected to be part of the Management Committee. Names proposed and agreed upon: a) Tony Leong (Parent) b) Norhazarinayati Bte Hj. Ismail (Parent) c) Lim Siew Lee (Jaime)

  11. 4. Amendments to Constitution. Members to be elected for Management Committee will need to be identified 7 days before AGM, andthe name to be made available to the PTA Management Committee, and if however no names areidentified, then the selection process will be during the day of the AGM. (Proposed: Devarajan.N, Seconded: Joan) 5. Planned Activities. A youth leadership talk has been planned and will be given by Ronnie Tan.

  12. 6. AOB a) A few topics that related to administrative areas was discussed. However in reference to the Constitution, the Secretary highlighted that it is best that the issues were discussed with the school. b) The majority agreed that the driving force in PTA success is rather in the interaction of Parents andTeachers to inspire the children. The meeting was concluded at 17:00 hrs. From :Devarajan.N

  23. 马来奕中华中学家长教师协会Chung Hua Middle School, Kuala Belait, Parent -Teacher Association委员会选票Voting Form  请填入被推举人编号． Please write down parents' code numbers. 7 备注： 1. 每位家长可推选六位委员。 1. Each parent is permitted to elect only 6 members for the committee 2. 若夫妻二人同时当选，其中一位必须退出，由下一位最高票者递补。 2. If both husband and wife are elected, only one of them can be in the committee. In such case, the elected parent with the highest number of votes will be the next committee member.
