  17. Results • historical grown voluntary systems are part of society, tradition and culture • area covering voluntary systems work very effectiv and efficient • number of members is in- / decreasing, different efforts and methods in advertising and recruiting……

  18. Results • high specialized personal with interest in qualified education, training and practice • Identification with area and local people as well as responsibility for safety and help, etc.. • differences in the knowledge and interest or acceptance of voluntary systems

  19. Results • fruitful discussion of a very well prepared questionaire about Volunteer Firefighters from the Lithuanian colleagues. • continuing EFSCA activities between the annual meetings bring benefits for members and reputation for the organisation
