Contract Facts • County of Los Angeles acted as the lead public agency • Evaluated by national team of local government and K-12 purchasing officials • Separate K-12 evaluation performed • RFP based on annual spend in excess of $350 million and advertised nationally • Evaluation of pricing based upon thousand of products • Bidders were required to submit net product pricing on all items with UPC codes for analysis purposes • Office Depot ranked #1 overall in price and capabilities • Office Depot received a single award for both national contracts • New contract effective January 2, 2006 • 4 year award with an additional 2 one-year extensions
