Safety & Security Develop a 3-tier Prison System • Control Units • 1st control unit has been established and operational (Mansfield). • Subcommittees have been assigned to develop additional control units. • Implement strategies to reduce violence as measured by ACA • Prison violence committees responsible for developing plan in all prisons.

  2. Stability & Order Ohio Risk Assessment System • All criminal justice stakeholders. • Design a dynamic inmate classification tool with enhanced STG component . • Develop dashboard of performance measures.

  3. Service & Delivery • Unit Management • Design and implement Ohio Unit Management. • Implement a blended private/public correctional system.

  4. Self Development • Increase Evidenced Based Programs • Program Participation/ Unit Management. • Build a grant program to enhance community corrections continuum.

  5. Personal & Social Wellness • HB 86 • Establish active Reentry Coalitions in all 88 counties. • Launch collateral sanctions database and reduce barriers to employment.

  6. Future Legislative Initiatives • Collateral sanctions reduced. • Earned credit for inmate-program participation. • Increase ex-offender employment through application revision. • Reintegration prison – top tier of system.
