Arkansas Silver Jacket’s Project • Coordinate with various agencies to assess the flood • Documentation of Flood event • Flag and survey HWM along White, Black, and Cache River Basin in Arkansas and SE Missouri • Develop inundation maps from these data • Compute statistics (for flow and stage) at various gages rivers in these basins

Flood Assessment Monday, Apr 25, 2011 Governor Beebe Declares State of Emergency in Response to Severe Storms and Flooding On May 5th, evacuations were ordered at Gregory, McClelland and Cotton Plant (all in Woodruff County) due to overtopping of the levee along the White River and a swollen Cache River.

  14. Flood Assessment On May 5th, President Obama declared the flooding in Arkansas a Federal Disaster As of August 2012, over $65 million in Federal Aid has been distributed to Arkansans
