WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: Safety has become of the utmost importance in Greenhaven.
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: We really need to find a way to distinguish our community ( pocket / Greenhaven ) from the bad reputation of South Sac. With the development of the new arena and the revitalization of downtown, midtown, and Broadway we have a real opportunity to bring in younger families who are looking to modernize older homes and potentially bring up home values. I hope the representative and leaders take this into consideration when approving or disapproving new retail and dining applications!
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: I think it's great to complete a survey and allow the community to voice their interest, concerns, etc. I hope that someone is evaluating and looking at the results so that these surveys continue to provide value.
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: no more liquor stores, smoke shops, bars
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: I love Pocket-Greenhaven, I have lived in the neighborhood since 2003 - in several houses - I now live right across the street from Kennedy High School. It is a beautiful place to live and raise children! Thanks for doing the survey!
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: Business growth is important, but we lost our luster since my kids grew up here. We are all older and not really investing in our neighborhood. We need to have a community cleanup of our beautiful green belt like land park has for its park, we need to volunteer and support our schools even though our children or grandchildren do not attend. We need be more civic minded and take action and stop just talking and planning
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: The speed of drivers on Pocket Road is significantly higher than posted speed limit of 40mph and in need of monitor. It feels like a raceway and unsafe.
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: Would love to see a splash park for the kids
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: Can we get the survey results by email? Will it be in the Pocket News and/or Inside Pocket?
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: Your questions seem like they are targeted to your own agendas, you should be more impartial!
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: Open river trail so that kids can ride entire river trail without endangering them on city streets
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: A neighborhood/community committee sanctioned by the city to notify owners to clean up blighted homes/lawns(overgrown weeds, dire need of paint, excess garage sales, sheets or foil as window coverings, more than the legally allowed number of dogs/cats) issues more likely in Pocket but also occasionally in GH as well.
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: My main area of concern, since I walk on the levee frequently, is the constant trash left by people fishing. I would like to see either more trash receptacles or restricted fishing. I have removed hooks and fishing line, batteries, and even bags of human feces from the shoreline. In addition, the amount of dog feces on the walking paths is unacceptable. Signs seem to mean nothing to these people. I understand increasing compliance to these simple cleanliness issues is difficult but I want to restrict usage if the pigs continue their unacceptable behaviors.
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: The area definitely needs to be made more attractive to young families.
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: I wish there could be some way to improve the few residences and yards that are very poorly maintained. Why are there so many vacant shops in the Land Park Post Office shopping center, the Rush River Bel Air center. The Florin Road Bel Air center is rundown with vacant space where a gas station once was and low class shops in the area leading to Freeport Blvd.
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: A bridge linking the Pocket to West Sacramento
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: Streets are dark & not conducive to walking if you return home late Bicyclists need to mind traffic laws
WHAT SURVEY TAKERS THINK ABOUT THE SURVEY: Thanks for the opportunity
