  2. And now, behold, I know that none of you among whom I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom will see my face again. Acts 20:25

  3. But going ahead to the ship, we set sail for Assos, intending to take Paul aboard there, for so he had arranged, intending himself to go by land. And when he met us at Assos, we took him on board and went to Mitylene. And sailing from there we came the following day opposite Chios; the next day we touched at Samos; and the day after that we went to Miletus. For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he might not have to spend time in Asia, for he was hastening to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on the day of Pentecost. .. Acts 20:13-17

  4. … Now from Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called the elders of the church to come to him. Acts 20:13-17

  5. I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard! Acts 20:29-31

  8. serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials that happened to me through the plots of the Jews; Acts 20:19

  9. Godly Ministers Model Love (v. 19) – serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials that happened to me through the plots of the Jews (V.31) – Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears.

  10. For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Philippians 3:18

  11. For I wrote to you out of much affliction and anguish of heart and with many tears, not to cause you pain but to let you know the abundant love that I have for you. 2 Corinthians 2:4

  12. I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you , not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. Acts 20:29

  13. preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 2 Timothy 4:2-4

  14. preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 2 Timothy 4:2-4

  15. Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood Acts 20:28

  17. how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you in public and from house to house Acts 20:20

  18. Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all, for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God. Acts 20:26

  19. So you, son of man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, that person shall die in his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul. Ezekiel 33:7-9

  20. So you, son of man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me.   21. But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 2 Timothy 3:1-5

  26. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. Hebrews 5:12-13

  27. I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.   28. GOD- He’s awesome! JESUS- See above…same person HOLY SPIRIT- See above…same person SALVATION- It’s awesome, includes the package deal off all three above, which are really one…but they are three…but one…uh… MANKIND- We suck (translation, we’re not awesome!) On Theology…

  29. END TIMES- It’s going to be awesome (and people who try to predict it are stupid!) CREATION- It was awesome, then mankind, who sucks, messed it up and have been doing so ever since.  BUT…one day God is going to make it awesome again! SIN- People think it’s awesome, but it sucks…but God saves us from it, which is awesome! THE BIBLE- It is a story about a God who is awesome! On Theology…

  32. And now, behold, I am going to Jerusalem, constrained by the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonmentand afflictions await me. Acts 20:22-23

  33. But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God Acts 20:24

  34. But the Lord said to him (Ananias), "Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel. For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name." Acts 9:15-16

  35. Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:8-10

  36. For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:6-7

  37. Godly Ministers Are Gospel-Focused (v. 21)– testifying both to Jews and to Greeks of repentance toward God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

  38. "Woe to you, when all people speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets. Luke 6:26

  39. The conscious act of a sinner, whereby he turns from his sin toward God. Repentance…

  40. (Acts 2:38) – And Peter said to them, "Repentand be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins… (Acts 3:19) – Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out. (Acts 14:15) – "Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men, of like nature with you, and we bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to a living God Repentance…

  41. (Acts 17:30-31) – The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead." (Luke 13:3) – No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish Repentance…
