  1. Youth Pheasant Hunt! WHEN:Saturday & Sunday ~ September 20 – 21, 2014 Begins at 8:00 am WHERE: JBLM (Ft. Lewis) Training Area 13 and Scatter Creek Release site (south of Tumwater) FREE to ALL!:The Youth Hunt is open to all registered hunters, 15 years and younger. Lunch will be provided. SUPPORT GROUPS:Volunteers of Western Washington Pheasant Releasers and Pheasants Forever Chapter 257 Volunteers will provide trained hunting dogs, if needed, to hunt with the kids who participate. All hunters will need a valid Washington State hunting license and upland game permit.In addition to the state's requirements, all hunters must be registered with the JBLM hunter-registration program run by the Northwest Adventure Center.
