Good Writers ~ Good Editors • “The difference between a weak writer and a strong writer is often not the ability to write fluently, but the effort taken to diligently edit and revise.” • Good writers are good editors. • Writing with the best makes you a better writer. • When you see how they edit your writing, you improve (often drastically). • Specific feed back from an advisor is often the only way grad students learn to improve their writing. (Listen!)
