  5. THE PROJECT CONCERNS on HUMAN RIGHTS in • relations with citizens/inhabitants and • relations within our institutions (However special role it appears in daily service with citizens)

  6. BASIC DATES START: 01.08.2009 PROGRESS REPORT 30.07.2010 END: 31.07.2011

  7. WE WOULD LIKE

  8. 1. Establish - by participation in the project and 'life' contacts - the informal net of policemen / police teachers (from schools and regular units) dealing with Human Rights issues; 2. Indicate main problems in the HR protection and understanding in the Police services, while on duty and during policemen's trainings in different countries of EU; 3. Indicate main tasks of a middle and high management staff in this area in Police units;

  9. 4. Choice the best practices in training/education area of the HR protection and implement them to other country; 5. Making description for other Police services representatives, including internal rules relating on above mentioned questions; 6. Indicate possible and desirable cooperation with out-of-Police institutions in above mentioned area.

  10. WE NEED AND HAVE TO DO

  11. carry out 24 mobilities • participate in active way • create the report / the book which would be an analysis of present state, description of the project's activity and indication what can be transferred to training in other countries • try to apply the best practices into some workshops and further training activity

  12. WE PLAN

  13. Develop common training contents or concepts; • Develop training courses; • Build up qualification of our teachers and trainers.

  14. EXPENDED RESULTS

  15. recognition of the differences in educational/training systems (regarding the project's topic and aims) Establishing final list of participants MARCH 2010

  16. selection of the best/innovative practices (from each unit) which could be implemented or are similar in some countries and is recommended to move it to large number of unit MAY 2010

  17. ending a basic stage of implementation best/innovate practices in training programmes Evaluation of their usefulness in different countries Professional judgment of workshops’ implementation Proposal of standard exercises and methodology MAY 2011

  25. Best practice is not only in education level but should be tranferred into lessons: • How we teach HR ? • How we improvedthisteaching ? • Strasbourg HR Courtcases (exercises during lessons – casestudy; • methods of hearing/talking (‘blueroom’); • …

BOOK/REPORT (2) CONTENTS: • Introduce; • A few words about the school/academy; • Legal aspect of HR in the state; • HR in training/education of the policemen; • Project description: when, how, what…; • Best/innovate practice – ‘how it worked’ in workshops and why we’ve chosen these ones; • Do we change something in our courses? • Summary.
