  2. Art on Wood using the grain After working in our cabinet shop for years, I began to see colors (beyond the muted earth tone browns) in the plywood surface. Now I am making these colors come to life. [I paint on] Knotty Pine Plywood using acrylics. - Joanna Hanna

  3. Objectives: • Create an original painting using good colour theory with the medium of acrylic paint on wood • Incorporate the wood grain lines into part/all of your painting • Utilize all of your painting space using good composition
