Honors • For the 350th anniversary of the Royal Society, Bryson edited Seeing Further, a history of the Royal Society. • Bryson has been Chancellor of Durham University since 2005 • Was awarded an honorary Order of the British Empire for services to literature • President of the Campaign to Protect Rural England
