  2. Malware Description • Implemented 2 types of malware • Spam Bot • Memory Leak • Spam Bot • Sends multiple copies of an email to a recipient • Triggered on/off by key words in the email • Once triggered all local users are affected

  3. Malware Description • Memory Leak • Copies of emails being retrieved are stored to memory • Triggered by sending invalid commands • The memory consumption rate is proportional to the number of users retrieving their email

  4. Virtual Machine • Using Virtual Box running a Linux based OS
