  2. Ten years from now… What do you want to be doing to make a living?

  3. What is the Wizard Career Inventory? • Asks to rate activities by preference • Given on the computer • Helps you see what careers/educational choices might be appropriate for you

  4. Who takes the Wizard Inventory? • Anyone who wants to explore career options. • 3 sections: • Interests • Work values • Skills assessment Take at least the first here; you may finish the rest at home

  5. What then? • Student/Parent conference • Can be re-taken, updated • Helps guide future educational choices

  6. INTEREST INVENTORY • Log in to a computer and type in the website vawizard.org. • On the top banner tool bar, you will find access to a link to log-in to your account. Type in the username and password you have been given.

  7. EXPLORE THE WEBSITE • Click on the button for Careers at the top of the screen. • Select the interest inventory and com- plete it to find careers of interest.

  8. EXPLORE ELECTIVES Look at career suggestions based on the number of years of schooling, and find some that interest you. Try the college search option, and get some ideas for schools to which you may want to apply.
