Wrap Around Acrostic • Notice how my poem has my name down through the middle? You are going to do the same thing with the words “Sam and Grace” or “Into the Wild”. • Your poem must have some thematic connection to the text. You could discuss relationships, nature, the need to escape, neglectful parents, not fitting in etc… • On your paper, place either “Into the Wild” or “Sam and Grace” vertically down the center of your paper. You will create a wrap-around acrostic. In other words, most lines should consist of at least 5 words, and the letter from the title does not have to be the first letter of the line.
