  6. Installation of Duct Unit Part 2

  7. The requirements is A=B≥P/10+20(mm) Condensate drainpipe : set up a backwater elbow to avoid water back for the negative pressure of inside unit.

  8. Supply air duct, return air duct and the fresh air duct must be covered with a layer of thermal insulation to avoid thermal leakage and condensation. The supply air duct and the return air duct shall befixed tothe prefabricated boards of the ceiling by using iron support.

  9. The screw the unit The hook the lifting screw The nut The hook The air outlet The nut DUCT

  10. The edge of the return air duct must be at least 150mm away from the wall.

  15. Installation of Cassatte Unit Part 3

  16. To prevent bent of the drain hose, the distance between hoisting stand should be 1 to 1.5m!

  17. The install height of the drain raising pipe should less than 280mm. The drain raising pipe should form a right angle with the unit, and distance to unit should not beyond 300mm.

  18. CASSETTE >160mm H=260mm >20mm

  19. The slant gradient of the attached drain hose should be within 75mm so that the drain hole doesn’t has to ensure the unnecessary outside force. 1、Check if the water correctly flow through the pipelines; 2、The joint of the drainage pipe must not have leakage; 3、The drainage pipe shall be installed with inclining angle of 5~10°

  21. Installation of Outdoor Unit Part 4 Installation Clearance Data

  22. Selection of Installation Site Problem?

  23. If the height difference between indoor and outdoor units is over 10m, it is required to install an oil trap every 6 meters.

  24. Shorten the connection pipe to minimum, preferably within 5m. ≤5m Reduce the height difference between indoor and outdoor units as it might be. If the connection pipe is extended longer, it is needed to check if the lubricating oil in the system is enough. Add if needed. Minimize the number of elbows on connection pipe.

  25. The principles of refrigerant piping:

  26. Tighten the flared nuts with torque wrench, until you hear a ‘KATA” sound from the torque wrench.

  27. Piping/ Pressure/ Vacuum • pipe cutting and flaring Caution 1: the pipe cutter should be vertical to the pipe axis . Not vertical vertical Correct Wrong Caution 2: Pay attention to the cutting speed and force to avoid deforming the pipe. copper pipe is deformed Too much force Wrong Wrong

  28. Caution 3:When removing the burr, the pipe orifice should be downward to prevent the scrap from getting into the pipe. Piping/ Pressure/ Vacuum Wrong Correct Burr Pipe orifice downward  Double surface Crack

  29. Flaring Once slant, double edges, or crackhappens, the pipe should be cut and reprocessed.

  30. Piping/ Pressure/ Vacuum Nitrogen charge pipe • Welding Copper pipe Welding Process Nitrogen(N 2) Vent port Copper pipe Nitrogen charge before welding Nitrogen protection Places requiring protection during welding

  31. Piping/ Pressure/ Vacuum • Welding Without nitrogen With nitrogen

  32. Indoor unit water leaking due to poor insulation

  33. Discharge the air out of the machine by vacuum pump: • Connect the tubes of the vacuum watch as follow photo; • Close the low pressure handle and stop vacuumize when the indicator turns to -1 bar, wait for 15minutes to keep a stable value of the vacuum watch; • Take out the valve cover of the gas valve together with the liquid valve. • Loose the cord of liquid valve until pressure rise to 0bar. • Dismantle the tube from the cover of the inlet for refrigerant then tighten the cover . • Loose the valve cord of the gas valeve as well as the liquid valve entirly. • Tighten the valve cover of the gas valve and liquid valve so as to chek whether leakage occurred.
