1. What the PolCam In-Car Video System is? PolCam PCII is an In-Car Video System designed for traffic monitoring/surveillance. It’s unique architecture enables it’s installation on board of almost any vehicle. Applied advanced technology allows to use PolCam in any weather conditions , during day or night. The system is an irreplaceable tool for documenting traffic violations like red light crossing, illegal passing/ overtaking , speeding and others.

Main PolCam applications: • Traffic Police: • Recording of average speeds (VSS Vehicle signal – Tacho Speed) • Recording real speed of incoming/outgoing vehicles (using Stalker Radar) • Recording police officer ‘s work on duty • Recording of various traffic violations (red light, wrong overtaking, mobile phone talking while driving, and more) • Audio recording while controlling drivers • Recording GPS position of traffic violations

5. Police car with installed PolCam with Staler DSR Radar system is parking on the roadside Camera and radar adjusted to look at the road and the vehicles, no matter oncoming or going away. When required, Radar can detect speeds for only oncoming vehicles or only going away vehicles or both together

When System automatically detects speed of incoming vehicles If the speed is higher then limit (set speed) system automatically start recording VIDEO and trigger the alarm Policeman can move the and follow the vehicle that is speeding. If there is more than one car System detects the FASTEST Radar can detect speeds in the shortest possible time: 0.2 seconds. The TARGET window continuously change the indicated speed as the vehicles flow. But the fastest ones are always indicated on the LOCK/FAST window.

7. Video recording records 25 images per second. Thanks to that it is possible to see frame by frame car driving and choose the best images for Evidence preparation.

8. Radar detects fastest car and lock speed of faster vehicle. If a car is passing by another vehicle, the faster one is shown on the LOCK/FAST window, the slower one is shown on the TARGET window; as shown on this picture. It is possible to lock higher speeds on the LOCK/FAST window until the operator releases it or via software it can stay there hold until the next fastest speed. Video recording makes evidence of the fastest car.
