  10. How we work

  11. Procurement • It can be seen as a high risk exercise to procure services, as we: • Do not have a standardised method to follow • Public sector is complex with it’s unique acronym loaded language that works in it’s own unique way • Track record of procuring projects and services is poor – 50/50

  12. Solution • In order to address this, Scape have created clear, simple and successful processes that: • Deliver commercial advantage • Deliver speed • Deliver certainty • Deliver quality performance • Deliver social sustainability

  13. In Practice Authority (PublicSectorClient) Partners

  14. The Agreements Framework Agreement – sets out the relationship between Scape and the framework partner – the overarching agreement. Delivery Agreement – model form included in the framework agreement. Project specific version signed by the framework partner and the client – the “contract”. Access Agreement – Between Scape and the client. Allows the client to access the Framework and award a contract without a further procurement process.

  15. Who is already benefitting • Our frameworks are used by: • Central government agencies – e.g. EFA, DEFRA, MoD, DoT, Valuation Office and the NHS; • Local Government; • Universities & Colleges; • Housing Associations; • Police, Fire and Rescue, Ambulance Services; • In addition to other national and public organisations such as the Forestry Commission, Natural History museum, Driving Standards Agency, National Crime Agency, Royal Botanical Gardens Kew.
