  2. What do they take the oxygen in? • They have to put it in tanks. They have to take lots of tanks. They pump oxygen into the tanks. The more they pump the higher the pressure. Then they shut the valve. They have to be careful of explosion.

  3. Where do they store the oxygen in the tanks? • Large tanks of compressed oxygen are mounted on the outside of the airlock of the spaceship.

  4. Why do they take oxygen to the moon? • Because there is no oxygen on the moon.

  5. Which oxygen do they take? • Liquid oxygen for higher density. This saves room

  6. How do they make oxygen? • They can make oxygen by a process called electrolysis which uses electricity to split water into hydrogen and oxygen.

  7. How do they take oxygen to the moon? • They put liquid oxygen in tanks which are mounted on the outside of the airlocks of the spaceship. The oxygen can be used inside the spaceship or in their spacesuit when they leave the spaceship.
