  2. What is GMAT?? GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test. Basically GMAT is an computer adaptive aptitude test in mathematics and english.

  3. GMAT exams are taken to test the capability of students through aptitude to succeed in graduate B-schools. GMAT exam is administered by GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council). GMAT is one of the best criteria used by B-schools to select candidates for admission according to their GMAT scores. GMAT includes 3 sections: • Verbal Section • Analytical Writing Section • Quantitative Section

GMAT Exam pattern GMAT Exam pattern GMAT consists three sections as explained below: • Verbal Section This sections contains 41 multiple choice questions carrying 0-60 points with permitted time 75 minutes. Verbal section is further divided into three parts such as: • Reading comprehension • Sentence Correction • Critical Reasoning

  5. Analytical Writing Section The writing section test the writing ability of candidates . In this section candidates will be assigned with two types of essays: • AOA (Analysis of Argument) • AOI (Analysis of issue) Time permitted to each essay will be 30 minutes with grade scale 0-6. • Quantitative Section This is considered as an eminent sections by most MBA programs. The section contains 37 multiple choice questions with permitted time 1hour and 15minutes. It contains further two sections: • Problem Solving • Data Sufficiency Problem solving tests the quantitative reasoning and covers the basics of arithmetic, basic algebra and elementary geometry. Whereas Data Sufficiency tests the quantitative reasoning proficiency using unusual set of instructions.
