“When is it going to Snow?” asked Geraldine. “How much is it going to snow?”
Geraldine’s father heard on the radio that there was going to be a big snow storm. At least a foot of snow!
"How much is a foot?" Geraldine asked. 12 inches = 1 foot
Geraldine bumps into Mrs.. Wilson who was coming home from the market. “Since it's going to snow, better go grocery shopping now!” she said pulling up her bag full of apples.
Geraldine also bumped into Mr.. Peters.. He was coming from the library with a pile of books to read while it snowed.
M. Harper was putting seeds in his bird feeder. “The birds need to be feed during the storm,” he said.
Eventually, Geraldine went home. There still wasn’t any snow. She began to doubt that the snow was even coming.
That night, it finally came! “It’s here! It’s here!” Geraldine shouted as she woke up.
Mrs.. Wilson started making apple pies Mr.. Peters began to read in front of the fire place. Birds form all over came and flocked Mr.. Harpers birdfeeder.
And as for Geraldine…… She took her sled to the top of the highest hill…………..
