  2. TEXT: Eph 1:20-21 The exaltation of the Lord Jesus Christ is a truth that teaches us:

  3. The Superiority of Christ A. He is at the right hand of God, the place of ultimate authority (Eph 1:20-21) B. He is far above all other power (Eph 1:20-21) C. His position is permanent and eternal (Eph 1:20-21)

  4. II. The Authority of Christ A. He is given “all power” (Matt 28:18) B. He is in control to “preserve” all things (Col 1:16-17) C. Ultimately, all enemies will be subdued (1 Cor 15:24-28)

  5. III. The Power of Christ A. His ascension and exaltation is proof of His power over death (Heb 2:14) B. His present position is proof of His eternal purpose to provide for the believer (John 14:3) C. His present position is proof of His eternal purpose to exalt the believer (John 17:22)
