Her appropriate attitude made King Ahasuerus and Mordecai respected her much. “15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” 1 Peter 3:15
I. The different characters of two queens Vashti • The first wife of King Ahasuerus. • Enjoyed herself in the luxurious palace. • Gave a feast for the women in her husband’s palace. • Refused to obey her husband’s command. • Consequently, she was banished from the palace. Esther • The second wife of King Ahasuerus. • Thought of her uncle and Jewish people more than the luxurious palace. • Gave a special feast for two honorable men. • Obeyed the directions of her uncle and husband. • As a result, she was blessed greatly from her uncle, husband and Jewish people.
II. Esther’s tactfulness in Esther 5:1-8 Worn the royal apparel. Stood in King’s court. Walked near and touched the top of the golden sceptre. King’s two questions of what is your petition ? What is your request?“ Then answered Esther, and said, My petition and my request is;If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do tomorrow as the king hath said.
III. Esther’s last and powerful answers confused King Ahasuerus immediately in Esther 7:1-10(CEV), • After their feast, King asked her, “ What can I do for you? Just ask, and I will give you as much half of my kingdom!” • Esther answered, “Your Majesty, if you really care for me and arewilling to help, you can save me and my people. That’s what I really want, because a reward has been promised to anyone who kill my people. Your Majesty, if we were merely going to be sold as slaves, I would not have bothered you.”
IV. King Ahasuerus’ furious question in Esther 7:5-6, • “Who is he and where is he?” • Esther answered, “The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman…”. V. Haman’s reaction in Esther 7:6,7,8, • Was terrified. • Begged Esther to save his life…got down on his knees beside Esther, who was lying on the couch.
VI. King’s furious eye on Haman’s inappropriate action toward her queen on the couch in Esther 7:8, • Haman was fallen upon the bed where on Esther was. VII. Haman’s immediate consequence, • He was hanged from the 75-foot gallow. • His ten sons were hanged, too.

XI. Keeping fellowship one with another in 1 John 1:6-7, • Not walk in both of light and darkness. • Having fellowship one with another in the light. • The blood of Jesus Christ cleans us from all sins. END
