前言 • Regenerative fuel cell (RFC) is an energy storage and conversion system, which mainly consists of two separated subsystems: a fuel cell and a water electrolyzer. 結果與討論 • These results reveal that Ir NPs are uniformlydispersed on the surface of IrO2 NPs and coveredconsiderableportion of IrO2 surface area. (101) (200) (220) (111) (200) (311) Ir (JCPDS: 06-0598) IrO2(JCPDS:15-0807)
The corresponding relative contents of Pt, Ir elements are 67.6 mol%,32.4 mol%. • The relative-contents are calculated to be 33.5 mol% Ir and 66.5 mol% IrO2
結論 • Pt/Ir-IrO2 catalyst has been fabricated by depositing Pt on Ir-IrO2 that was obtained through IrO2 surface modification with metallic Ir. • The electrocatalytic activity of Pt/Ir-IrO2 towards ORR is higher than that of Pt/IrO2 , and the electrocatalytic activity of Pt/Ir-IrO2 towards OER can be comparable to that of Pt/IrO2 . • This kind of the structure of Pt/Ir-IrO2 catalyst is beneficial for the stability of Pt because of the interaction between Pt NPs and Ir NPs, which can effectively prevent Pt from agglomerating. • This study may open a new concept to design highly active yet stable Pt-based bifunctional oxygen catalyst for URFC.
