ITEMS TO REMEMBER • YOU CAN EASILY NAVIGATE WITHIN DNV NAVIGATOR BY EITHER USING: • - For “one step back” - use “CLOSE” on the bottom of the menus (to the left on the screen) • When you are in a document – use “CLOSE” on the left side of the top of the document, see example on the next page • Additional “Special function buttons”as edit, save delete, print etc – also on top of many documents • - For leaving (exiting) the Navigator - use “EXIT” on the right hand side of MAIN MENU • ALWAYS USE “PROPER” TERMS IN ”POP-UP” MENUS WHEN PROVIDED BY THE NAVIGATOR • FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN TO YOU CAREFULLY. REMEMBER • To make the program work, you have to enter data related to: • Owner/manager etc • Vessel • Crew including Rank List & Passengers • Vessel Certificates • Cargo • Stores • Voyage • The more data that you enter, the better DNV Navigator will work! • The above is done by use of the “Data Entry & Logs” in the Main Menu CMMI 31-05-2008
