What is Scala? • Scala Business Solutions was formed in 1997, in Amsterdam • Original company founded in 1978 • We make business software • It’s available in over 30 languages and is used in more than 140 countries • We sell to the subsidiaries, divisions and suppliers of global companies, and to local companies • Our software enables companies to manage their business processes • Accounting, stock control, manufacturing processes, etc • Using the Internet for connectivity [ At March 31, 2002 ]
