General Preventive Maintenance Inspections Proceedures • Always make a note of the settings of the unit before performing any test to make sure that unit is returned to the user exactly the way it was prior to testing
Things to check during any maintenance procedure • Integrity of the unit • Chassis – check to make sure the unit is not physically damaged • Power cord • Check for cuts or breaks in insulation • Check for exposed wires • Check for dry rot • Check the strain relief
