The flowers get pollinated and start to produce fruits veggies and seed pods Rotten fruit will fall to the ground, the seed pods will also fall to the ground out will pop the seeds and. The life cycle of a plant will start again A seed starts thewhole life of a plant. The seed shots out roots to find water and minerals to help the plant grow. The plant uses the water, minerals, sunlight and carbon dioxide to produce what is known as a flower The plant then uses the leaves to filter in sunlight to use as food. After the plant has roots it shots a stem upwards towards light. Then the plant grows it’s first leaves.
Flowers should start appearing on the plant Seed sending out it’s roots The plants first leaf Mature leaves seed stem Very first root Small root system Bigger root system
The Seed! The seed is the starting of a plant. Seeds come in different sizes, shapes and colours Seeds can grow into icky scratchy weeds or pretty plants that will grow nice fruit
Roots Roots go down to find water and minerals to help the plant grow and stay alive. FUN FACT The roots can get as fine as the hair on you’re head!! Plants couldn’t live with out roots: .They would keep falling over because roots make sure that doesn’t , they spread WIDE out. . The plants wouldn’t get enough food the roots collect food and water for the plants, the leaves help to. But what happens when the plant is really young and doesn’t have any leaves yet?
Leaves, leaves and MORE leaves! Leaves come in different shapes and sizes Leaves can be green, orange, yellow, red, brown and golden Leaves turn sunlight in to food for themselves so they can produce fruit and flowers. If they got no sunlight they would die Some leaves have toxins and poisons so animals won’t eat them! Some leaves are yummy to eat like lettuce and spinach
