Best Highlights of the EEE Department at KRCE • The Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) department at K.Ramakrishnan College of Engineering (KRCE) has earned a reputation for its outstanding performance in academics and beyond. In the previous blog post, we took a glimpse into the world of the EEE department. Now, let's look at the department's achievements, milestones, and contributions to the field of engineering. With a focus on innovation, talent development, and making a positive impact on society, the department has accomplished a lot. Further, the EEE department continues to shine brightly, leaving an indelible mark on academia and society alike.

Awards and Achievements of EEE Department • Three faculty members hold the esteemed title of senior members of IEEE, USA. • Also, the department boasts active student branches of IEEE, ISTE, and IEI. • Impressively, the IEEE student branch has been honoured with the Best Student Branch award for five consecutive years since 2017. • The IEEE student branch has achieved recognition as one of the top 5 student branches in R10 IEEE Asia-Pacific, earning a reward of $300. • Additionally, the department received the IEEE & ISTE Best Student Award for the academic year 2023.

Special Highlights • The department developed an outcome-based curriculum. • Additionally, organized an energy awareness program, earning an appreciation certificate from EnSav Club. • As a crucial component of our energy awareness initiative, final-year students designed energy-efficient LED bulbs and distributed them to nearby places at nominal costs. • Furthermore, department faculties published four books with reputable publishers
