A Good Meeting… • 1. achieves the meeting's objective. • 2. takes up a minimum amount of time. • 3. leaves participants feeling that a sensible process has been followed.
Effective Meeting Checklist • Identify a purpose and set clear objectives • Invite the right people and the right number of people. • Set the ground rules.
Effective Meeting Checklist • Create and distribute an agenda in advance. • Priorities – what absolutely must be covered? • Results – what do need to accomplish at the meeting? • Participants – who needs to attend for it to be successful? • Sequence – in what order will you cover the topics? • Timing – how much time will spend on each topic?
