  4. Cancellation of DRK Demo • DRK has moved from 2005 on to Berlin, will not reside in Wiesbaden any longer • New DRK congress management has decided that IHE will only receive a 10 m² booth this year • Decision communicated to IHE end of January 2005. • Sufficient for presentations, posters, etc., but not for a „live demonstration“ as in 2002-2004. • So for this year there will be no „live“ IHE DRK demo. • Wein@radiologie-aachen.deeichelberg@offis.de IHE Europe 2005 Participant Workshop

DRK: Profiles that we cannot show • Consistent Time, Access to Radiology Information • demonstration possible, but boring as stand-alone demo • Enterprise User Authentication, Patient Synchronized Applications, Personnel White Pages: no actors. • Cardio and Lab integration profiles (not useful for DRK anyway) • Presentation of Grouped Procedures, Nuclear Medicine • No modality • Patient Identity Cross-Reference for MPI • All actors covered but only single PID domain, nothing to x-ref • Reporting and Postprocessing Workflow: No Order Filler • Audit Trail and Node Authentication: Only one system IHE Europe 2005 Participant Workshop

ITeG 2006 • Congress on „IT in Health Care“ (started in 2004) • Organised by the VHitG, representing the vendors of IT systems in health care in Germany • Consists of exhibition and „dialogue“ (presentations) • Focussed towards a very specific target audience, which should be highly interested by IHE. • In 2005 takes place in parallel with the Connectathon • If we avoid collision for 2006, this could be a very interesting venue especially for an IT-I showcase IHE Europe 2005 Participant Workshop

DRK 2006 • Will take place in Berlin, May 2006. • Booth issue needs to be discussed with DRG. • Distributed IHE demo would be an alternative, if we start planning early enough to integrate this into vendors’ booth planning. • Network and Security • Practical Integration Profiles • Walking Demonstration through the Industr.
