SharedPrep.com provides a platform for students and teachers to collaboratively make test preparation easy. It isintegratedwith existing social networks and has functionality found in forums and Q&A sites:
What we do SharedPrep facilitates the creation of an exhaustive database of questions from students, teachers and test preparatory institutes on all subjects which are typically found in standardized tests such as • GRE, GMAT, TOEFL • entrance examinations: IIT JEE, CAT, XAT and • aptitude tests for campus interviews.
Marketing assignment SharedPrep is still in development stage andwe are testing it with different clients: universities, coaching institutes and students. One amongst them isCrackVerbal,a GMAT coaching institute from India.
Marketing assignment Using the CrackVerbal subdomainhttp://crackverbal.sharedprep.com/,we are using variousonline channels to drivestudents and teachersto our site. We have kept the UI very user friendly and simple so that anybody who comes to our domain can start benefitting from SharedPrep.
Whyso? CrackVerbal.SharedPrep.com contains over 300 questions and is ready to be used by customers SharedPrep.com itself is not yet populated with questions enough and has no regular users It is a community driven test preparation forum which is to be driven by our customers.
Methods and aims From the information gathered we can distinguish between the sources of visits and registrations onthe site (Google Analytics) We will compare it to offline acquisition cost of customers of CrackVerbal (which we are awar) We willuse the data to evaluate at our strategy and hence our marketing efforts to drive more and more users to benefit from SharedPrep
