  4. Follow up on the decisions of the Brazil conference • Pave the way to implement the Brazil conference resolutions • Identify the gaps that prevented the full application the first half of the Decade of Action Plan

Determine what should be done to promote this plan at the start of the second half of the Decade of Action Plan (2016-2020) • Shed a light from Beirut on a global humanitarian cause • Raise awareness and urge our government to take serious and tangible action to avert more victims with the help of press agencies and key media outlets

  6. The Lebanese Government adopts a draft law, requiring from all members of Parliament and ministers to sign the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 • Every Member of Parliament or minister sign a commitment to adopt a stance in the media by calling – at least once a year – for the execution of the principles and activities stated in the Decade of Action plan, particularly Decision no. 64/255 issued on March 8, 2010

  7. The civil society concerned with traffic safety and post-trauma care creates a lobby group to implement this initiative • The civil society concerned with traffic safety and post-trauma care forms an official delegation to communicate with the Prime Minister urging him to appoint as soon as possible a Secretary for the National Traffic Safety Council, as stipulated in the new traffic law • The National Road Safety Council Determines Lebanon’s needs regarding rescue culture and techniques
