  3. MARKET METRICS Project 24462 • Establishes reporting requirements for ERCOT, TDSPs, and CRs • Replaces monthly Market Metrics website uploads • Provides to the PUCT the means to evaluate the performance of the retail electric market

  4. MARKET METRICS Six Measures • A1-Customers Served by Non-Affiliated REPs • A2-Number of Active REPs • B1-Customer Enrollment Success Rate • B2-Meter Read Transaction Success Rate • B3-Billing Success • B4-Inter-Company Invoices

  5. MARKET METRICS Quarterly Reporting Process • ERCOT will report on A1, A2, B1, and B2 measures • CRs will report on A1, A2, B3 and B4 and may elect to report on B1 and B2 • TDSPs will report on A1, A2, B1 (with some optional reporting) B2, and B4

MARKET METRICS Practice Run • There has been agreement to a voluntary “Practice Run” of the Long Term Performance Measures Report. • ERCOT • ERCOT emails January data for measures B1 and B2 to each individual REP by 3/20.  • ERCOT emails a single file with January data for all REP’s to PUCT by 3/20. (marketmetrics@puc.state.tx.us) • TDSPs • EachTDSP sends January data for measures B1, B2 and B4 to each individual REP by 3/20. • EachTDSP sends a single file with January data for all REPs to PUCT by 3/20. (marketmetrics@puc.state.tx.us) • CRs • EachREP runs their reports for measures B1, B2 and B4 using January data.  CRs will compare their data to data from TDSPs and ERCOT by 3/20.
