Josip Matos Primary School, established in 1970, is the only independent school for children with disabilities in Vukovar-Srijem County, Croatia. With a motto of "I wish, I can," the school caters to pupils aged 7 to 21 with intellectual disabilities, autism, and chronic diseases.   2. JOSIP MATOS PRIMARY SCHOOL • The only independent school for children with disabilities in Vukovar-Srijem County • Established in 1970. • Our motto is I wish, I can • 63 pupils with intellectual disabilities, children with autism and chronic diseases attend school • Students age 7 – 21 year

  3. JOSIP MATOS PRIMARY SCHOOL- Students follow a special program (3–9 students in the group)-Special education teachers -School professional service (speech therapist, special educator, psychologist, nurse)- Extra curricular activities (gardening, household, creative activities, etc.)

  4. JOSIP MATOS PRIMARY SCHOOL • Students participate in the cultural and sportsevents at local and national level • Integration of the people with disabilities into local community
