Counting SF ws 1 • Nickel Lab Part 4 (burner; steps 1- 8); if time allows practice setting up evaporation equipment in preparation for tomorrow, step 9 • Start to answer questions on pages 17-18 refer to special message on safety if needed Homework: • Read Lab Part 5 • PP 7 (Physical chemical Change) • Cornell notes due tomorrow: • Read /and review CN from chapter 1 and section 2.1. and • Complete CN 2.2-2.8; 4.5-4.7; and • self checks 2.2- 2.9 and 4.2-4.4 • Atomic Model Project Due on Friday 9/2 or take optional test during Explorer period on 9/6* • Nickel Lab intro packet due Friday • Obtain quad ruled lab notebook – due next Tuesday • Review sig figs for DQ DQ: see handout Today’s Handouts: DQ * no retakes – this test is difficult Coming up: STEM kick off meeting Wed 9/7 8:30 am C212
