Mandy Tu's research sites are in Oregon. No prescribed fire is allowed in the Pacific Northwest in the spring, so they use mowing instead. Mandy's research goals were to find combinations of treatments that: decrease RCG cover, encourage establishment of native species, and decrease herbicide use.
