Daniel Bernoulli 1700-1782 In Hydrodynamica (1738), he laid the basis for the kinetic theory of gases, and applied the idea to explain Boyle's law. With Leonhard Euler, He established whichis probably the most important principle used in Aerodynamics. Swiss Mathematician and Physicist Applied Mathematics to Mechanics, especially fluid mechanics and for his pioneering works in probability and statistics.
BERNOULLI’S PRINCIPLE “In a fluid-flow situation (such as water or air) the pressure in the moving fluid is lower at places where the speed of flow is greater than at places where the flow is slower.” In other words, as the velocity of a fluid increases, the pressure exerted by that fluid decreases.
Increase in Velocity = According to the Bernoulli’s Principle, Velocity is INVERSELY PROPORTIONAL to Pressure. Decrease in Pressure
Velocity increases in between the papers Thus pressure between the papers is low. Since there is greater velocity in between the sheets of paper, it can only mean that the velocity outside is lesser. Thus the pressure outside the sheets of paper is greater.
Hey! I was just wondering why the smoke in the fireplace does not get inside the house?
GREATER VELOCITY BECAUSE OF THE BLOWING AIR Lesser Velocity
