  3. Congratulations, Eva Lucchino!  Winner of the High School Summer Biomedical Science Internship Program in Research at Magee-Womens Hospital This is a highly competitive program based on academic criteria and less than 10 percent of the students who apply are chosen.

  5. Attention, Rising Seniors! • Please visit the Guidance Office College Room at your study hall, lunch, or before or after school. There are many college information resources available, including computers for your use. • Start your college search now!

  6. Schenley Gardens volunteering this Thursday after school.   • We will be doing crafts with the residents.   • Sign up on campus ministry board.  

  7. Attention all students: Advanced Placement exams and being administered in room 217 (the Pittsburgh room/2nd floor faculty room). No students are allowed to use the chapel elevator or enter the testing area unless medically necessary.

Congratulations, Mia Fratto • Mia has received a full scholarship to be a member of the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for Engineering and Technology at Lehigh University. • She was one of 50 students accepted from the entire state of Pennsylvania. She will be there for 2 weeks this summer under the instruction of Lehigh professors

  9. The Oakland Catholic Track and Field Team had a great day yesterday at the WPIAL Qualifiers. The following runners and throwers qualified for the Championshipsnext Thursday at Baldwin High School. Taylor McCorkle has been named " Athlete of the Week" by the Pittsburgh Tribune. • Taylor had been named MVP at both the South Fayette Invitational and the • Pine-Richland Invitational last week.  • Her accomplishments will appear in the Trib either today or tomorrow.  • Congratulations Taylor, it's a great honor for you and Oakland Catholic.
